Attention all band
members and parents: it’s time for a road
trip!!!
Once again, Drum Corps International, commonly known as DCI, is coming to Atlanta’s Georgia Dome for the Southeastern Championship on Saturday, July 25th. This competition presents the height of excellence in marching bands and will be both educational and highly entertaining. Trust me- it’s going to be a blast!!!
The cost of this trip is $35 per person. This covers the ticket and bus transportation. Seats on the bus are first come, first serve. We will leave the school at about noon on Saturday, and be back around midnight. Students & parents will be responsible for their own meal & souvenirs.
The deadline to have the money turned in is Wednesday, July 22nd. For payment info & to reserve a seat on the bus, please call me- Jennifer Hood- at 834-6060 or send me an e-mail at hoodj@rheacounty.org. For those of you who don’t know me, I coach the flag squad and also teach sophomore biology at RCHS.
