Marching Show for 2008...

This year's theme for
the marching show is Metroplex: Three postcards from
New York.
This is a three-part show with the movements representing the skyline, jazz/blues, and traffic!
I will try to post some sound files to practice along with later this summer.

Trip next year...

This Spring, the RCHS
band will be travelling to Orlando, FL and Disney for
our trip. We will be participating in a session with
Disney musicians/directors.
The ddates are set for April 1-5th. We will leave early the morning of the 1st (Wednesday) and be returning after the park closes April 4th. We will get back to the HS early the morning of the 5th (Sunday).
The approximate cost for this trip will be $600 for a quad room. Parents who are interested in going on this trip should wait until August for more information, exact number of seats available, and guidelines for who will be given priority for the trip.
We will be visiting all 4 Disney parks during the trip, and most meals will be included in the price of the trip. More information will be available when we return in July. I hope everyone will be making plans to go on this trip with us.

Finale Notepad is a
program that is a free download, and you can write
music with it. It will also playback music you've
entered. (Great for getting ready for tryouts!,
practicing marching music, etc.)
