Next year's theme for the
marching show is Metroplex. This is a three-part show
with the movements representing the skyline,
jazz/blues, and traffic!
The subtitle of the piece is Three Postcards from New York.
I will post some sound files and will have the parts for you to look at after the concert next week.

NExt years trip will be to

Disney. We have a special workshop there with Disney musician/directors who will be working with the band!!!
Dates are still being finalized, but should be in early April. More details later. This will be a 4-day trip, with the costs around the $600 for the NYC trip, but with an extra day.

Our RCHS Spring Concert is
scheduled for April
29th at 7:30.
Due to a conflict with DCS and no other nights to move either concert to, we will start at 7:30, not our usual 6:30. The choir will begin at 7:30 this time. Please note this change, and we are sorry for any inconvenience.

There will be a band
booster meeting on Monday, April 7th at 6:00 PM in the band room. We will
be discussing the 501(c)(3) application as well as a
few upcoming events. We encourage all parents to attend
and be involved in the booster organization

Info
Congratulations go out to
both bands for their performances at the ETSBOA contest
at UTC. Both the freshman & Symphonic Bands
received Division I ratings in sight-reading (the
highest scores) and Div. II ratings overall. Good job
bands!
